As your City Attorney, I am responsible for protecting public safety by prosecuting criminal cases arising from violations of our City Charter and Municipal Code. My goals are keeping our community safe and preserving the great quality of life that we are privileged to enjoy in Huntington Beach.
I’m also dedicated to protecting city taxpayers by advising the Mayor, City Council and City Staff to make fiscally responsible decisions. I want to prevent wasteful spending and ensure that our city tax revenues are preserved to pay for critical community services like fire, police, parks and beaches.

Meet Mike
Mike Vigliotta is an experienced municipal law attorney with deep roots in Huntington Beach, focusing on the practical issues that shape daily life in a city — land use, employment, and public safety. He served for nearly 18 years in the Huntington Beach City Attorney’s Office before becoming City Attorney for the City of Orange in 2023, then returning to Huntington Beach as City Attorney in February 2025.
